This track is inspired by my short time spent growing up in San Francisco aged 1 - 4.
The intro atmos is actually audio from footage of a camcorder we had 22 years ago, in the footage we are just about to get on a tram by pier 39 in San Fran, the voices you can hear are my Grandma Pat (RIP) my dad and my brother, theres also more audio clips at the end of my brother, mother and I talking about my brothers new toys (it was a happy time!).
The acoustic guitar represents my dad as he used to play to me and my bro and we would attempt to play along. The electric guitar represents me . The computer analogue type sounds represent my bro as he is a web developer now (all the guitar was played in live via yours truly along with all the keys and live percussion)
The dialogue of the girls talking about brothers is actually from a @Soulection film of their time at Coachella festival.. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=XoKnMKXdyc4
14:00) When i heard her say brothers in an american accent it triggered my inspiration for this tune which is why i had to sample it. So a big thanks to them for inspiring this!
The artwork for the track was drawn by my mother.. it features me and my brother looking out at the city 22 years ago.
